The Executive Director of the Chartered Institute of Tax, Law, and Forensic Accountants, Ghana, Eric Oduro ESq has revealed that, Forensic Accounting is an area where Ghana needs to invest more as he believes the country can benefit from.
According to him, this is a new way of ensuring proper accountability in the various public and private institutions, thus the need for proper investment in this area.
He made this known during the graduation and induction ceremony organized by the Chartered Institute of Tax Law and Forensic Accountant, which was held in Accra.

Eric Oduro ESq stressed that, Forensic Accountants have huge role and responsibilities to play in their various roles in their respective institutions as he says it builds ethical standards for professionals.
He said that the accounting face is changing in Ghana, and the accountants need new skills force to face the labor market.
Mr. Oduro also noted that cyber crime platforms when come into force will help in the reduction of cyber crimes, and forensic accountants will be the most used for the role.
He admonished Ghanaians who are taking the field of forensic accounting to be fair and firm in the discharge of their duties as he urged leaders to set quality examples for their followers so they can achieve their guidelines.
